I’ve heard some sentiment out on the internet that Instagram usage is down or people don’t see your posts as much. From my perspective our growth and engagement has remained pretty steady over the last couple years, but strangely these nine posts received way more likes than our top posts of 2022.
Our top 9 posts of 2022 ranged from 10K-19K likes, but this year they range from 14K-47K! (Note this only shows image/feed posts. My Halloween costume reel got 449K likes). However, I would say our MEDIAN post reach/likes is significantly down compared to last year. I think that tracks with Instagram’s likely strategy. Showing the average user more of the BEST content, regardless of whether you follow them. That means YOUR followers might be less likely to see all your posts, but lots of non-followers might see your best posts!
Note the Elon post is actually 10 images of it’s own and only the first slide is shown here. If you want to look at that one or any of the others, the dates are listed below if you want to scroll down, or pretty much all of our posts on on our website at personalfinanceclub.com.
