How to invest: Step by step instructions

I have SO MUCH SYMPATHY for those who are entering the world of investing for the first time. It is TERRIFYING. Crypto, day trading, futures, options, Jim Cramer, stock tips, junk bonds, forex, and dudes on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange frantically waving little pieces of paper over their heads. HOW ON EARTH is a normal person supposed to compete in that terrifying world?!

Well, I have some good news. All that stuff I just listed is STRAIGHT UP NONSENSE. It’s speculation. It’s gambling. In my mind, it’s in the exact same category as going to the casino or sports betting. It’s just guessing and it’s a terrible way to make money.

Real investing is WAY EASIER. It’s simple. It’s calm. It’s slow. It’s about buying things that pay you while you own them and are likely to go up in value over time. Then all you do is buy more and hold. Buy more and hold. Buy more and hold. Over time, you acquire more and more and more and what you own keeps paying out and going up in value. This is how rich people get rich.

The steps are actually really simple as I show in this post. It’s a few clicks of a button on a website. But it’s good to understand WHAT you’re clicking and why. That’s what I’m teaching here all the time, but if you want a crash course, join me tonight for a free workshop! I’ll be teach all the basics in an hour so you’ll leave ready to invest your first dollar or armed with a better understanding of what to invest in and why!

As always, reminding you to build wealth by following the two PFC rules: 1.) Live below your means and 2.) Invest early and often.
