Real wealth is knowing when to save, and when to spend

Money is an incredible tool. We all KNOW how powerful it can be in our lives, but how many of us actually take the time to LEARN about it? It’s largely not taught in school (although some great people are working on fixing that and making progress!) But for most of us adults, we got thrust into the real world with this assumption that you’re just supposed to KNOW how to be an expert with money.

But like most things in this world, it takes time to learn! I love these two books because they speak to opposite sides of the spectrum. SOME of us are always trying to “keep up with the Joneses” spending all our money, or worse going into debt trying to look rich. But that’s not how actual millionaires operate. Those of us need to read the Millionaire Next Door!

Others of us ARE millionaires and don’t realize that dying with the most in the bank isn’t the end goal. And that while we’re so focused on saving and investing, opportunities to SPEND that money are passing us by. We need to read Die With Zero!

Both perspectives can lead to a wealthier life and better use of the money tool!

As always, reminding you to build wealth by following the two PFC rules: 1.) Live below your means and 2.) Invest early and often.
