Russia fines Google $20 decillion: largest fine ever?

To put this into further context, if a single grain of sand was worth a MILLION dollars and Google collected every grain of sand on planet earth and delivered it to this Russian court in one massive pile hundreds of miles wide, that would pay off about 0.0000001% of their debt.

What’s this have to do with personal finance? Well obviously, Google needs to pay off this debt ASAP so they can start investing in their Roth IRA. I’d recommend skipping the lattes and picking up a side hustle like walking dogs or starting an in-home daycare.

As for YOU, I’d highly recommend not getting into a pissing contest with any sort of adversarial foreign nation. It will make your wealth building journey go a lot smoother.

As always, reminding you to build wealth by following the two PFC rules: 1.) Live below your means and 2.) Invest early and often.
